When a roofing company tells you your roof is covered by a warranty, do you know what that means? 

There are two types of warranties. One is a Manufacturer’s Warranty and the other is a Contactor’s Warranty.  As a bona fide roofing contractor, Cram Roofing Co., Inc. provides our valuable customers both. The first warranty – a Manufacturer Warranty – is given after producing bondable, insured and inspected work. Manufacturers provide this warranty by approval once all criteria are met and they feel confident in the work and finished product. If the material is applied using a method that is reliable and correct, the manufacturer will provide a warranty on their product that can last up to 20 years. The second warranty is a Contractor Warranty. Our warranty is guaranteed for two years and protects our customers if a leak occurs where there may have been a defect in workmanship. Cram Roofing Co., Inc. will make repairs, free of charge, in the roof membrane and membrane flashing. Coupled with a Manufacturer’s Warranty, our customers are certain their roofing investment will last. The Contractor’s Warranty provided to our customers is another way of expressing our commitment to superior customer service.
